Diocesan Glastonbury Pilgrimage Sunday 8 July 2018

In this year of Mission, Bishop Declan invites all Parishioners to join him at the annual Diocesan Pilgrimage is being held at Glastonbury on Sunday 8 July. Parish Altar Servers are invited to assist with the Mass. The Rosary will be in St Mary’s Shrine Church at 11.30am. The Sacrament of Reconciliation and Healing Prayer will be offered from 12 noon until 3pm in tented chapels inside the abbey gates close to the church. The Rosary Procession starts at 2.15pm and the Pilgrimage Mass with Bishop Declan at 3.30pm. A coach will leave opposite the White Heart at 9am, St Gregory’s at 9.15am and Central Car Park (Opposite the Library) on A345 in Amesbury at 9.30am. To book your seat, please complete the details on the envelopes at the back of our churches and include a £10 donation towards the cost of the coach and return to the parish office. Do not forget  to take food and a drink with you.  

The programme is: 11.30am - Rosary in St Mary’s Shrine Church.  Midday-3pm Reconciliation and Healing Prayer near Abbey Gates. 2.15pm Rosary Procession 3.30pm Mass at the Abbey Church Ruins.
