National Eucharistic Congress, Liverpool - Friday 7 to Sunday 9 September
You are invited to attend the National Eucharistic Congress in Liverpool. The theme is Adoremus. It is a special gathering of the Catholics in England and Wales to reflect upon the centrality of the Eucharist in our lives of faith and to reflect upon all that the Eucharist calls us to be as a people nourished, fed, formed and moulded by the Eucharist itself. If you would you like to take part, please contact Clifton Diocesan Education Service by Email at: [email protected] for further details and a free entrance ticket
Eucharistic Congresses are gatherings of clergy, religious and laity which promote an awareness of the central place of the Eucharist in the life and mission of the Church. The last International Eucharistic Congress in England was held in 1908 when permission for a public procession of the Blessed Sacrament was refused. Participants will engage in a series of sessions focusing on different dimensions of the Eucharist and the daily celebration and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
‘Let us Adore Him’ is a podcast series that explores ‘Adoremus’. These are available on our website: https://salisburycatholics.org/adoremus
