Arrangements for Mass
The full list of Mass times in all our churches is on the final page of this newsletter and also features on our website: click on ‘Mass Times’ in the menu above.
Church Capacity The reconfiguration of the available pews in our churches to “1 m plus” is now complete. This means that we have more useable space and can fit more people in to Mass; please continue to book early.
Booking to attend Weekday Masses: Thank you so much for your continued support with this process. Please note that there is almost always space at our weekday Masses and that booking for weekday Masses can take place right up until Mass begins.
Booking to attend Sunday Masses: Please book as early as possible to attend Sunday Masses (including Saturday 6pm Vigil Mass). Office opening hours are Monday - Friday and so emails and telephone calls on Saturday and Sundays may well not be received/responded to.
To book, please call 01722 562703 or email email@example.com
Bookings can only be taken on this number and email address, Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00
Volunteer Stewards Required
Please note that if at any time we do not have volunteer stewards to assist at a Mass, that Mass cannot be opened to a congregation. If you are willing to assist and are ‘non-vulnerable’, please do volunteer the appropriate church Co-ordinator: for St Gregory’s, contact Sam on 07973 678115; for St Osmund contact Tony on 01722 562703 and for Holy Redeemer please contact Warwick on 01722 327507.
Fr Christopher Whitehead, parish priest of St John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Bath, reflects on a weekend that saw Catholics in England return to Church for Mass. Numbers are, of course, limited to allow for social distancing but having a physical congregation rather than just a virtual one was a joy for both priest and people alike.
