Congregation Exchange

As in previous years, we are taking part in the Churches Together in Salisbury ‘Congregation Exchange’.  The idea behind this exchange is that we join in prayer and share in the liturgical experience of some of our fellow Christians of other denominations and vice versa. This year, much to our delight, we are twinned with Salisbury Cathedral who are very kindly hosting Canon Michael’s Golden Jubilee Celebration later this year (click here for detail). The exchange will take place over the two weekends ‘nearest’ to the Octave of Prayer for Christian Unity:                                                               .

Sunday 20 January - all parishioners are warmly invited to attend any of the following liturgies in Salisbury Cathedral but the Cathedral will be extending a special welcome at their 10.30am service.

0800 - Morning Eucharist (from the Book of Common Prayer)

0915 - Choral Matins (Morning Prayer)

1030 - Choral Eucharist

1630 - Choral Evensong (Evening Prayer)

Sunday 27 January - we are inviting members of the Salisbury Cathedral congregation to join us at either the 9am or 11am Mass at St Osmund’s.  Please be sure to extend a warm welcome to Cathedral parishioners at these Masses.
