House Blessing in Woodfalls

A Catholic House Blessing was carried out by deacon Stephen Godwin in the Home of Tony and Linda in Woodfalls in the edge of the New Forest. Tony Agnew is Catholic and attends Mass in Salisbury whilst Linda is Anglican and they both regularly support each other’s churches. The House Blessing was attended by nearly 50 people from both the Catholic and Anglican communities and afterwards, Tony and Linda provided an amazing buffet and drinks for all those who attended. Tony says ‘ a very big thank you from myself, Linda and the Christian community of Woodfalls for making that day a special one for us all. The feedback from our friends was amazing and they all enjoyed it and said how nice it was to meet Christians from our Catholic faith’.

This is a good example of Christian denominations coming together to celebrate our togetherness as Christian communities.
