Lou Godwin's 93rd Birthday

Lou Godwin with daughter in law Margaret Godwin assisted by Christine Muggleton and serving coffee to Mary Gillen.

On a very wet and miserable Sunday morning, about 80 parishioners including many children joined in the celebrations for Lou Godwin’s 93rd Birthday immediately after Mass on Sunday 14th October at St Gregory’s.
Despite being his birthday and enjoying a slice of birthday cake, Lou couldn’t be dissuaded from serving tea and coffee as he does with Margaret Godwin most weeks. A new couple to the parish, Rob and Hayley were warmly welcomed and commented on how wonderful it is to be included in the celebrations.
