More Volunteers needed at Christmas

Over the Christmas period, we welcome to our churches many people who are  not regular attenders with us - some who only come at Christmas, some who are in Salisbury visiting family or friends etc.  People come to church for all sorts of reasons over this period and it is vitally important that we are ready to welcome them warmly to our churches by making sure that the environment, our liturgies and our parish is wellprepared, warmly welcoming and ready for visitors.  Week by week  we have teams of people who clean the churches, arrange the flowers, welcome at Mass, help in the sacristy, prepare the service sheets, organise the music etc etc.  We would like to invite EVERYONE to play their part in helping to prepare for Christmas - it may be that you are not able to volunteer on a regular basis but could help out a little bit as we prepare for Christmas. If you would be willing to help in any capacity at or in preparation for the Christmas Masses - welcoming, cleaning, flower-arranging, altar-serving, singing, please speak to one of the priests or deacons or email [email protected]
