Salisbury Catenians Ladies Night 25 July

Salisbury Catenian Circle held their 'Ladies Night' on Thursday  25 July. 45 were in attendance this included guests and vistors from Andover, Bournemouth and Southampton. Special guests on the night included Canon Michael and Sacha Blanchard (Society of Our Lady of Lourdes).

The Catenians took the opportunity to bid farewell to our much loved Parish Priest Canon Michael who will be formally leaving the Parish next month, but we hope will return to us on supply visits occasionally in the future.

Sacha Blanchard gave an excellent talk on the 'Society of Our Lady of Lourdes'  and how they manage their annual pilgrimages to Lourdes, who they take, the voluntary help they receive (Doctors, Nurses, Helpers etc.,), the logistics involved in taking such a large group and some experiences were shared. If you would like to know more please go to their website at: http://www.soll-lourdes.com/ .

The Society of Our Lady of Lourdes is one of the Catenian President's (Jim Rollestone) chosen charities for his year in office.
