Clifton Diocese Lenten Reflections ‘Journeying Through the Desert’.

For the 5th Sunday in Lent : Cath McCarthy reflects that we need to find a quiet place in our lives and feel God's presence.  

For the 4th Sunday in Lent, Canon Christopher Whitehead in reflecting on the Gospel, calls us to allow the Lord to touch our eyes and see more clearly where He is in our lives.

On the 3rd Sunday in Lent Canon Christopher in reflecting on the Gospel that what began as the physical need for water then becomes 'the living water' of believing in Jesus.

Canon John Udris speaks of the vulnerability of being in the desert and the trust we need to remain there.

 

In week two Sister Hyacinth reflects we need to find our 'desert' because in the desert we have nothing and in our helplessness we finally turn to Him.

5th March the title is ‘The crowd at the Passion’

12th March the title is ‘The authorities at the Passion’.
