HOPE AND FRIENDSHIP GROUP
The hope and friendship group is a supportive, friendly and relaxed gathering for those who are bereaved or suffering a loss. We meet at 11am in St Osmund’s Parish Rooms (next to the church) every few weeks and everyone is welcome. For our next meeting, please see the ‘Diary’ section on this website. For further information, contact the parish office.
This group provides an opportunity for senior adults to enjoy one another’s company and we also occasionally arrange day trips. We meet every other Wednesday at 2pm in St Gregory’s Hall. For our next meeting, please see the ‘Diary’ section on this website. For further information, contact Christine on 321109.
Our parish lunches are a wonderful opportunity to enjoy lunch and make new friends. Open to all ages - everyone is welcome and there is no need to book. Lunch is served in the Parish Rooms following the midday Mass at St Osmund’s on the first Thursday of each month. For the next lunch, please see the ‘Diary’ section on this website. For further information, contact Jane on 421287.
The St Osmund’s Bridge Club meets every Thursday from 1pm – 4pm in the Parish Rooms. This is not a formal bridge club, it is a social gathering with refreshments and costs £1 per week. All money raised is donated to the St Osmund’s Buildings Fund. For further information, contact Gill on 321109.
This group meets on Monday mornings from 10am until noon in St Osmund’s Parish Rooms (next to the church). The group is very friendly and is open to all ages. We enjoy our time together sketching, drawing or painting – whatever you enjoy. We provide tea and coffee and lack of prior experience or ‘talent’ is no bar to joining! There is no need to book, just come along; you will be made very welcome. For more information, contact John and Liz on 01725 510310.
