St Gregory move

A sincere thank you to the many volunteers from across all of our Salisbury churches that turned up on bank holiday Monday morning to move the contents of St Gregory’s church, and presbytery into the hall to allow full decoration of the church to occur during the month of June. Because we were blessed with so much support from women, men and children, a difficult job was made much easier and thanks to the organisation of a Tony Coyle and Jez Mawdsley, the work was completed in just three hours. What a wonderful team effort and a sense of our Catholic community that  so many people were prepared to give up their bank holiday Monday to do this. The constant stream of tea, coffee and biscuits ensured that nobody went thirsty. For the month of June, Friday and Sunday Mass will be held in the hall before we need to repeat the whole operation in reverse when work is complete.
