On Saturday 24th November 2018 we are holding a gathering for young people of the Clifton Diocese. This day is aimed at young people of 12 – 25 year olds and is an opportunity to come together as a diocese and share their faith. We will be celebrating the life of St Oscar Romero with great speakers, music and activities and that will help young people have a say in how our diocese will support them. We will be launching a new Diocesan Youth Forum that will meet throughout the year so we can listen to young people’s voice in the Church. The day will finish with Mass and a commissioning of all young people.

The day takes place at St Brendan’s Catholic Sixth form College, Broomhill Road, Bristol. The day begins at 11 am and finishes at 4pm. Parental consent forms are available to download from the diocesan website. If you are attending as a parish group, your volunteer leaders are welcome who will be responsible for your young people. Individuals or smaller groups can be signed in and will be cared for by our leadership team.

I’d be very grateful if you could encourage young people to attend this day and gather a group to represent your parish. Please email [email protected] with how many young people will be attending.

I have included a newsletter item below that I hope you’ll be able to include for the following weeks.
