World’s Biggest Coffee Morning

Our annual ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support is an increasingly popular event in the calendar of our Salisbury Catholic community.

 

Started by parishioner, Jo Little, in 2010 and held in the chapel of the Holy Family in Whaddon, the first event raised an amazing £372.  There is no charge to come along and all money raised is from voluntary donations.

 

The event has gone from strength to strength and is a wonderful occasion to come along with a group of friends to chat and meet up whilst raising money for a great cause in the knowledge that there will be delicious (home-made only!) cakes.

 

In 2017, the amazing sum of £840 was made - it would seem that word has got around!  Lots of parishioners attend so you will doubtless meet-up with others that you know even if you come alone! 

 

Tell your friends and your family - spread the word!

Any remaining cake is sold in ‘taster packs’ after the Holy Redeemer 6pm Mass on the following day (29 September) and this is always popular too!
