PILGRIMAGE  and the Camino Portuguesé – Friday 22 June at 7pm in Christ The King , Amesbury Hall.  Pilgrimage has a long tradition in Christian life and Santiago De Compostela remains as popular as ever (in April 2018, there were over 22,000 pilgrims), but why, in an increasingly secular, materialistic society is this so?  What is pilgrimage; what is the pilgrims’ motivation; why do people continue to go on pilgrimage; and what is the pilgrim ‘experience’? Following his pilgrimage to Santiago, Graham Brown invites you to an illustrated talk when he will explore these questions and share his experience of the Camino.
