Pope Francis has called for an Extraordinary Missionary Month this year.Download 2

The title for October is 'Baptised and Sent: the Church of Christ on Mission in the World' and it has the aim of 'fostering an increased awareness of the missio ad gentes and taking up again , with renewed fervour, the missionary transformation of the Church's life and pastoral activity'.

The Pope has asked Missio to coordinate this month which is to be celebrated by every diocese, parish, school and religious community.

Here in Salisbury , we will align our own monthly 'Year of Prayer' intention for October in accordance with the wishes of the Holy Father and plans for the month are currently being formulated. More details will follow in our newsletter and on our website: https://salisburycatholics.org/october
