My Generation Trip to Weymouth 19 July 2018

Daytrip to Weymouth

On July 19th 2018, a group of 52 parishioners and friends had a wonderful day out together at the seaside.

The trip was organised by the ‘My Generation’ social group which meets every other Wednesday at 2pm in St Gregory’s Hall.  A full coach set out for Weymouth and everyone was in good spirits, cheered by the beautiful weather.

On arrival at Weymouth everyone was free to do as they chose and decided upon different things – some enjoyed walking along the seafront while others went exploring the various places to eat and relax.  A group met up later to share fish and chips (there’s nothing quite like fish ‘n’ chips at the seaside!) whilst others took the more refined option and enjoyed a cream tea.  Much ice-cream was consumed in the hot weather and everyone had a wonderful time.

Thanks to everyone who came and especially to those who helped to organise the day.
