YEAR OF PRAYER

YEAR OF PRAYER - As our Diocesan ‘Year of Mission’ draws to its close, we look ahead to Year 2 of our diocesan strategy ‘A Future Full of Hope’. (This document is available on our website: https://salisburycatholics.org/downloads) Bishop Declan is, once again, calling our community together to prepare us for the 'Year of Prayer'. On Saturday 10 November we will gather at St Brendan's College, Brislington, (10.15am to 3pm) with the inspirational speaker, David Wells, who will help us reflect upon Encounter with the Lord in Prayer. The Year of Prayer will begin on the first Sunday of Advent and this day will introduce us to the resources that will be available to us from the end of November. All are welcome, please let the Parish Office know if you plan to attend, and if so please take a packed lunch. In addition, on Tuesday 27 November at 7pm in our Cathedral, Bishop Declan invites our parishes and communities to join him at a celebration of Evening Prayer during which he will present to each parish, community and school the resources for the Year of Prayer. Transport may be available if you would like to attend either of these events, contact Caroline on 01722 502503 [email protected]
